Next Meetings
For the time being, "B" meetings (on 18th January, 15th February, et seq.) will be the now familiar Round Robin which has proved to be a successful format in the absence of face to face Fix-It sessions. It is anticipated that this format will continue until face to face meetings can resume. Zoom joining details will be sent to all members a few days before.
The February "A" meeting (Monday 1st February) will be a video presentation evening featuring interesting radio related topics. Zoom joining details will be sent to all members a few days before.
Extra 2m Net on "non-meeting" Mondays
In the current absence of face to face meetings, we will be holding additional 2m FM Nets on the Mondays when we do not hold a "Virtual Meeting (see above) starting at 8pm. This will be on 145.350MHz or the next lower free channel on the 2nd, 4th (and 5th) Mondays of the month.

All "Real" Meetings still cancelled until further notice
As our normal meeting place is still closed until further notice and in view of H.M. Government's advice and recommendations to reduce the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19), the SRCC Committee is taking the following steps:
1> Cancel all normal SRCC Meetings and Events until further notice.
2> Continue to issue a monthly Newsletter
3> Suspend the SRCC Club Rules until we are able to resume normal meetings.
4> Encourage members to take part in the weekly on-air nets.
5> Encourage members to enter radio contests.
6> Review the situation on a regular and timely manner so that SRCC activities can be resumed as soon as possible within HM Government's Guidelines.
The committee members will keep in regular contact with each other by email and hold "Virtual" Committee Meetings as and when required.
It is with considerable regret that the committee is taking these actions, but is mindful that the health and well-being of Club Members must take precedence over other considerations.
