Do you live in the London Borough of Croydon?
I understand that the status of our parks and open spaces has temporally changed. The Croydon Council are preparing the ‘Local Plan’ and the Planning inspector felt there was not enough local evidence to prove how these open spaces were special or important to the local communities. As a result a survey has been set up on-line asking the local community what they think of their park or open space. If you want to have your say as to why your open space should be safe from building development, go on line using the link below. This link will take you to a map of the area and you should then click on your area of interest and answer the survey questions.
